Hi friends, my name is Jo.

I'm a lover of Jesus, with a heart's desire to love others well, wherever He calls me. I'm a wife, mama, grammy, and adoptive mama too. I spent years as a missionary in Cambodia and my experiences have made me passionate about freedom, family, truth, and anti-trafficking. I'm spurred on by Isaiah 61:1 which says, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound."

For me, it all started one day in April 2009 when I watched a short video from Love146, a global anti-trafficking organization. The video was about a girl in SouthEast Asia whose number was 146. In brothels around the world, sometimes the precious girls are not called by their names, but rather a number. This was the heartbreaking case in this story. It impacted my heart so deeply and I shared it with my husband who was, also, astounded.
